Descrizione


A spingere la moto c'è un motore a quattro cilindri in linea da 1171 cm³ con distribuzione bialbero a 16 valvole.[1]

Il propulsore è disposto frontemarcia.[2] Il sistema sospensivo è composto all'anteriore da un Duolever con ammortizzatore centrale, mentre al posteriore è presente un monoammortizzatore.

La seconda generazione della K1200GT, introdotta nel 2006[3], utilizza essenzialmente lo stesso motore da 1157 cm³ della BMW K1200S; oltre al propulsore più potente, la moto ha subìto un alleggerimento per ridurne il peso.[4]

Die BMW K 1200 GT ist ein Motorrad des deutschen Herstellers BMW AG. Der Sporttourer zeichnet sich durch einen leistungsstarken Motor, guten Windschutz, komfortable Sitzposition und ein gutes Fahrwerk aus. GT steht für Grand Tourismo und symbolisiert laut BMW kultivierte Sportlichkeit verbunden mit hohem Tourenkomfort für die Besatzung. Die Modellcodes der zwei Generationen lauten K41 und K44.

The BMW K1200GT is a sport-touring motorcycle made by BMW. The second-generation K1200GT, introduced in 2006, uses essentially the same inline-4 engine as the BMW K1200S sportbike, which held the world speed record in 2005 for its class at 279.33 km/h (173.57 mph),[2] and the K1200R. The new model was lighter and more powerful than the 2003 first-generation K1200GT.[3]
